Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitchers, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, both of ovoid form with tall collars and one-gallon capacities, one with slip-trailed vine motif, NY State origin, the other with abstract slip-trailed designs, NY State or New England origin. Shorter with a small chip to exterior of rim, a tiny chip to interior of rim, minor chipping to base, and a 2" surface line to spout. Taller with a 5" crack from rim on reverse, a jagged 6 1/4" crack from rim on side of pitcher, a 1/4" line to spout, a restored spout chip, and some small restored rim chips. H (of taller) 10 1/2".
