Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, both of ovoid form, a two-gallon jug with stylized brushed floral motif and a two-gallon pitcher with stylized brushed foliate motif. Jug with chipping around base and minor in-the-firing flaws, including a small in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder. Pitcher with crudely-restored handle and crudely-restored crack from rim curving below decoration on front and other thin unrestored lines. H (of jug) 13".
