Four Glazed Redware Food Molds, MD and PA origin, 19th century, a very rare melon-form mold with lead-and-manganese glaze, attributed to Jacob Heart, Chambersburg, PA, circa 1840; two lead-glazed cake molds, attributed to John Bowman, Boonsboro, MD, circa 1870; and a large lead-glazed cake mold with splashed manganese decoration. Jacob Heart mold with rim chip, rim wear, base chip, and two thin cracks from rim. One Bowman mold with some flakes to interior and exterior surface, as well as exfoliation to underside. Other Bowman mold with small chips and wear to rim, a top-to-bottom crack from rim, and wear to central tube. Largest with top-to-bottom crack from rim, nicks and wear to central tube, a minor base nick, and residue to surface. L (of Jacob Heart mold) 6" ; Diam. (of largest mold) 9 3/4".
