Two Pieces of Tanware, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, a large-sized, ovoid pitcher with elaborate freehand Albany slip decoration, paired with a ring-handled flowerpot with attached saucer and freehand Albany slip decoration. Pitcher with an approximately 3 1/2" x 1" professionally-restored section to rim. Flowerpot with restoration to one loop and ring, a 1 3/4" hairline from rim on reverse, and some restoration to rim on reverse. Penned museum(?) code on bottom of flowerpot. H (of pitcher) 9 1/4" ; H (of flowerpot) 7 1/2" ; Diam. (at base) 6 1/4".
