Two Glazed Redware Articles, John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, a dish with lead-glazed interior and rare coggled dash-and-spot motif to interior edge, impressed "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'" on reverse; paired with a tapered bowl or pan with lead-glazed interior and exterior, stamped "JOHN BELL." Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Miller House Museum, Hagerstown, MD. Dish with two minor rim nicks and light wear to interior. Bowl with rim wear and light surface wear to exterior and interior. H (of bowl) 3 1/8" ; Diam. (of bowl) 7 1/8".
