Large-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Water Cooler, Stamped "HART BRO'S/ FULTON, N.Y.," circa 1885, ovoid cooler with flared rim, squared bunghole, and molded, ornamental handles, stenciled in cobalt, "NO" followed by an impressed "2" / IMP'D. / STONE WARE / WATER FILTER / MF'G. BY / HART BRO'S / FULTON. / N Y." Incised and cobalt-highlighted banding throughout. Reverse impressed "HART BRO'S / FULTON, N.Y." Areas of amateur restoration. A chip to interior of rim and a chip to inner rim for lid. Chips to interior of rim and inner rim for lid. Small chips to bunghole. H 24".
