Fine Small-Sized Stoneware Rundlet with Cobalt Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, barrel-form with heavily-tooled banding and large central spout with tooled accents, the entire body and spout coated in cobalt slip. A 2 3/4" flake to bottom edge on front. Traces of faint salt glazing to this damage indicate it occurred in the firing. A small in-the-firing chip to reverse along top edge. H 5".
