Large-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Mug with Impressed Broom Motif, Incised "Th. H.," probably Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1880, ovoid mug with footed base, the front decorated with an impressed and cobalt-highlighted design of crossed brooms flanked by the inscription, "Th. H." Incised and cobalt-highlighted banding above. Brushed cobalt stripes to handles. Excellent condition with a minor chip to interior of rim. H 7 3/4".
