Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, Bell Pottery, Waynesboro, PA, second half 19th century, a redware plate with lead-glazed interior, stamped on exterior wall, "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.," paired with a lead-glazed lid, stamped on underside, "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'." Plate with surface wear to interior, some bubbling to glaze near rim, and two small rim chips. Lid with chips to knob, a few chips to outer edge, a small area of exfoliation to outer edge, a few minor chips/water glass staining to flange on underside of lid. Diam. (of plate) 8 5/8".
