Large-Sized Copper-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared spout, the surface covered in an unusual lead-and-copper glaze. A small chip and wear to spout. Wear to rim and a small spot of wear to molding at base spout. Minor handle wear and a small in-the-firing contact mark to top of handle. Two base chips and light base wear. H 7 3/8".
