Very Rare Stoneware Pitcher with Incised Floral Decoration, attributed to New Ulm, MN, circa 1870-1890, ovoid pitcher with tooled body and pronounced rim molding, decorated with an incised and cobalt-highlighted design of a leafy stem bearing tulip and daisy blossoms, applied over slip-coated clay. Brushed stripe decoration to handle. Staining to surface. A shallow 5/8" chip to exterior of spout. A minor chip to interior of spout. Minor rim chips. One base chip. H 8 3/8".
