One-Gallon Stoneware Advertising Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SMITH & BRICKNER / 221 WASHINGTON ST ALBANY," NY State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jug with squared spout and ribbed handle, decorated with a tulip plant with sinuous stem. A semi-circular surface crack to underside. Two spout chips and a chip to handle. Two minor base chips. A short hairline to base on front. H 11 1/2".
