Cold-Painted Stoneware Figure of a Spaniel, American, circa 1875, molded figure of a Cavalier King Charles spaniel with original black, white, and red paint. Interior fitted with a piece of clay to allow the figure to rattle when shaken. Composed of smooth, buff-colored stoneware clay. Expected wear to paint. Otherwise excellent condition. H 8".
