Unusual George Ohr Pottery Inkwell on Base, Stamped "GEO. E. OHR / BILOXI.," MS origin, late 19th century, wheel-thrown inkwell with incised, bark-like surface, applied to a slab base with bark-like surface and applied clay stem bearing leaves, berries, and small star-shaped flowers. Underside impressed with George Ohr maker's mark. Some light wear to rim of inkwell and surface wear. A shallow 3/4" flake to underside of one of the base's corners. L 5 5/8" ; W 3 5/8".
