Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, NJ origin, second half 19th century, a rare cobalt-highlighted mug, stamped "COMPLIMENTS / OF / MRS. G. LUTZ'S / SALOON," attributed to the Wingender Pottery, Haddonfield, NJ, circa 1900; paired with a half-gallon pitcher with cobalt tulip decoration, attributed to A.J. Buttler, New Brunswick, NJ, circa 1860. Mug in very nice condition with three rim nicks. Pitcher with small chips throughout rim, a salt drip to base on reverse, a long surface line to underside (not visible on interior), and a thin Y-shaped crack to spout area (although it appears no pieces are reglued). H (of mug) 4 5/8" ; H (of pitcher) 9 1/8".
