Fine Large-Sized Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size and color. Among the finest Strasburg redware creamers that we have ever offered. Very nice condition with a 3/4" rim chip, primarily visible on interior of rim, and some minor nicks to rim and base. H 7".
