Fine Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Coggled Floral Decoration, attributed to Paul Cushman, Albany, NY, circa 1810, stylishly-potted, vasiform jar with footed base, rounded shoulder, and flared rim, decorated with a coggled design of an undulating vine bearing tulip blossoms. Surface covered in a brown Albany slip glaze. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased by the consignor decades ago. Base chips. A few small rim chips and some light wear to rim. A 2 1/2" inverted T-shaped line from rim. H 8 1/8".
