Fine Glazed Redware Jar with Three-Color Slip Decoration, Eastern PA origin, early 19th century, thin-walled, cylindrical jar with footed base, rounded shoulder, and flared rim, the surface dipped in yellow slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Interior coated in a lead-and-manganese glaze. Wear to rim. Base chips. Two small flakes of glaze missing from body. Minor surface wear. H 6 3/8".
