Scarce One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to B.F. Landrum, Horse Creek Valley, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1855, ovoid pitcher with tooled shoulder and short, flaring collar, the surface covered in a mottled olive alkaline glaze. A lesser-seen form from the region. A small spout chip. Wear to rim and spout. A 1 1/2" U-shaped surface line to side of pitcher, not visible on interior.
