Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, two butter crocks with cobalt foliate decorations on the front and reverse, together with a four-gallon ovoid jar with large tulip decoration on the front and reverse. One butter crock with a long diagonal crack from rim, and a few small chips. Other butter crock in excellent condition with a minor crack to top edge of rim and a small in-the-firing ping to shoulder. Jar with a tight spider crack extending from rim to shoulder area, a 1 3/4" flake to interior of rim, and other small rim chips.
