Unusual Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher with Applied Floral Decoration, probably Ohio origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with narrow collar, cut rim with upswept style, and strap handle with applied thumbrest and faux screwhead terminal. Surface profusely-decorated with applied clay "coleslaw" and a large clay flowering vine motif. Losses to applied vine and coleslaw. A surface line to top of upper handle terminal. H 13 1/2".
