One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "M L", probably Mack Leonard, Lincoln County, NC, circa 1890, highly-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, the surface covered in a dark-olive alkaline glaze. Impressed with the initials "M L" at the top of the handle. Excellent condition with minor base chips, a small spout chip, possibly in-the-firing, and a tiny spout nick.
