Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, James River, VA origin, circa 1835, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with an undulating vine with leaves. A 1 1/4" shallow chip to underside at edge. Two adjacent chips to underside at edge, measuring a total of 1 1/8".
