Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Washbowl Pitcher, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, upswept spout, and ribbed strap handle with applied thumbrest and spurs, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Pitcher with reglued section to right side of spout, with professional coloring along the crack. Otherwise excellent condition with minor surface lines to base, not visible on interior. H 12 3/4".
