Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Sr., Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, highly-ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, decorated with a central band of conjoined tulips below a swag-and-hanging tulip motif. Additional conjoined tulip decoration to collar. Brushed stripes to rim and base. Impressed "3" on collar. Exceptional size with strong decoration. Large restoration to spout. 3 1/4" crack from rim on reverse. Horizontal crack in lower handle terminal. H 14 1/2".
