One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated around the body with a swag and hanging flower motif. Collar and spout decorated with brushed swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: Collection of Harry Meyer, McDonald, PA. Large restored section to right side of collar. A restored 5" crack to left side of collar. Restoration to spout. Network of tight lines to reverse below handle.
