Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, Philadelphia, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, each of the same size with coggled edge, their interiors decorated in yellow slip with similar foliate and stylized stripe designs. One plate with two smooth rim chips, a 1 3/4" line from edge, two small flakes on interior, and other light wear and staining to interior. Other plate with three small shallow rim chips, as well as scattered flakes and light wear to interior. Diameter (of each) 9 7/8".
