Slip-Decorated Redware Pitcher, attributed to the Lawrence Pottery, Beverly, MA, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with flared collar and applied strap handle with thumbrest, the surface decorated with yellow clay banding and heavy copper splotches and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Collection of Harry Meyer, McDonald, PA. Excellent condition with glaze wear to thumbrest and a small area of glaze wear to spout. H 7 5/8".
