Extremely Rare Lot of Two Stoneware Jugs with Glen Rock, PA Advertising, American, 19th and early 20th centuries, a quart-sized, salt-glazed jug impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "WM FOUST / WHOLESALE & RETAIL / LIQUOR DEALER / GLEN ROCK PA", Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875; paired with a brown-and-white jug with original stopper and gold accents, featuring the advertising, "Compliments of / Wm. Foust, / Distiller. / Glen Rock, Pa.", early 20th century. Salt-glazed jug with a spout chip and horizontal crack through handle. Other jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of salt-glazed jug) 7 5/8".
