Glazed Redware Bowl with Profuse Yellow and Green Slip Decoration, PA or Southern origin, first half 19th century, shallow, flaring bowl with footed base and semi-squared rim, decorated on the interior with stylized yellow-and-green-slip flower blossom, and along the walls and rim with profuse, alternating straight and wavy lines in yellow and green slip. The shallow, dish-like shape of this bowl is closely-related to forms produced in North Carolina during the late 18th and first few decades of the 19th century, less common in Pennsylvania production. Rim chips. Wear to interior. H 12 3/8".
