Rare Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Vase, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid form with stepped base, tooled shoulder, and narrow, flaring collar with coggled rim. Surface covered in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional form with excellent color. Very nice condition with base chips, a few small rim chips, and a 1 1/8" hairline from rim. Glazed surface survives in outstanding condition, retaining a strong luster. H 6 1/2".
