Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, tapered pot with attached saucer and coggled edges, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashes of copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. A smaller size than is typically seen for this style of Strasburg flowerpot. Very nice condition with typical small chips and wear to rim and saucer. Some surface wear to base of flowerpot. Some light wear to coggled shoulder molding. Two tiny glaze flakes to shoulder. H 6 1/2".
