One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with two large tulips extending up the front. Collar decorated with four groups of brushed swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: Collection of Lorren Lambert, Staunton, VA. Restoration to rim and spout. Some touch-up to over-fired area around base of left tulip.
