Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a one-gallon jug with slip-trailed pine tree motif, stamped "WHITES UTICA"; a half-gallon ovoid jug with slip-trailed cobalt "X"; and a large-sized ovoid jug with brushed flower. Whites Utica jug with two horizontal hairlines to handle, a spout chip, some firing flaws to surface, some surface wear, and whitish residue at base and underside. Half-gallon jug in excellent condition with some paint residue to surface. Large-sized jug with a thin 12 1/2" vertical crack to reverse, tight lines to surface, and crazing to underside.
