Scarce Pair of Redware Plates with Copper Slip Decoration, attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, fourth quarter 19th century, both with coggled edge, the interior decorated with three wavy lines of bright copper slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, discovered by a Singer family descendant in the 1950s in one of several boxes stored away in the eaves of the Singer Pottery warehouse. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diameter (of each) 8 1/8".
