Five Redware Bowls, Including One Inscribed "Mended", attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, fourth quarter 19th century, all with rounded rims, footed base, and lead-glazed interiors, one bearing the incised script word, "Mended", on underside, presumably because a damaged spout had been patched with clay prior to firing. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, discovered by a Singer family descendant in the 1950s in one of several boxes stored away in the eaves of the Singer Pottery warehouse. Smallest with some wear to interior. All in good condition with wear and/or chips. Dimensions (of four of the bowls) approx. 3 1/2" x 9 1/2"; Dimensions (of smallest) 3" x 8 1/4".
