Five Redware Flowerpots, attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, fourth quarter 19th century, all of tapered form with tooled shoulder, rounded rim, and original drain hole in underside, one with lead-and-manganese-glazed surface. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, discovered by a Singer family descendant in the 1950s in one of several boxes stored away in the eaves of the Singer Pottery warehouse. Heavy chipping to rim of glazed example. All in otherwise good to excellent condition. H (of smallest) 3 3/8".
