Rare Lot of Two Glazed Redware Slip Cups, attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, second half 19th century, both of slightly-domed form with single quill hole in top surface, including an exceptionally small example with reddish-brown lead-and-manganese glaze, paired with a larger example with light-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. The smaller example may have been made as a child's toy or a sample model of a larger example, as it would hold very little slip. Smaller example with some glaze wear to surface, light wear to opening in top, and a small, shallow base chip. Larger example in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diameter (of smaller example) 1 7/8" ; Diameter (of larger example) 3 1/8".
