One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, decorated with a two-stemmed tulip plant flanking a foliate motif. Cobalt swags brushed around collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 2" chip to base and two small base chips to reverse. Shallow chips to spout. A 1 1/4" flake to rim on reverse. A mottled Albany slip drip to side of pitcher.
