One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled collar, elaborately-decorated with a three-stemmed tulip motif extending up the front. Four brushed foliate motifs around collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Reverse with a 2 1/4" loss to rim, adjacent to a 4 1/4" reglued section to rim. Handle broken and reglued. An 8 1/2" vertical crack from rim on front. A small chip to interior of rim.
