Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bottles, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, one impressed "AM BRYDEN" with cobalt stripe around shoulder, the other impressed "PLYMOUTH" surrounded by a slip-trailed triangle. Provenance: Property of a New York State collector. Bryden bottle with a 1 1/2" in-the-firing loss to base, another post-firing base chip, a small U-shaped line to base, a chip to interior of spout, and some wear to edge of shoulder. Plymouth bottle with some fry to cobalt and in-the-firing damage to top of spout. H (of Bryden bottle) 10 5/8".
