Rare Rockingham Creamer, Stamped "Chs COXON / Sth. AMBOY / N.J.", circa 1858-1860, with twig handle and spout in the form of a hatted man's face, the surface decorated with a streaked amber-colored glaze over a yellowish ground. Underside impressed with a very faint Charles Coxon maker's mark within a raised cartouche with chamfered corners. Provenance: The Stradlings. Chips to spout. A rim chip on side of pitcher. H 5 3/8".
