Fine Glazed Redware Flowerpot Saucer, Chester County, PA origin, possibly Vickers family, circa 1825-1840, raised on three feet with double-crimped edge, the surface decorated with copper and yellow-colored slip with overlying lead glaze. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased years ago at a Bucks County, PA auction. Typical shallow chips and wear to crimping. A chip to one foot. Diameter 8 3/4" ; H 3".
