Four Glazed Redware Jugs, American, 19th century, all of ovoid form, one with manganese sponging, one with blackish lead-and-manganese glaze; one with lead glaze over a mottled green-and-orange ground; and one with olive-colored glaze. Restoration to spout and handle of manganese-sponged jug, along with small base chip. Black-glazed jug with chips to handle, a hairline to underside of handle, minor surface wear, and a base chip. Jug with mottled glaze with two base chips, one measuring 1 1/4", as well as chips to handle, wear to spout, and some small surface flakes. Olive-glazed jug with large area of restoration to surface on front.
