Fine George Ohr Pottery Vase, Stamped "G. E. OHR, / BILOXI", Mississippi origin, late 19th century, ovoid vase with heavily-manipulated midsection and finely-crimped rim, the surface decorated with a dark gun metal glaze to the rim and shoulder and streaky greenish glaze below. The delicate crimping on the rim resembles a flower blossom or star when viewed from above. Provenance: Robert Meltzer Collection. Excellent condition with a minor rim nick. H 4 1/2".
