Fine Slip-Decorated Redware Plate with Two-Color Tulip Decoration, Dryville, PA origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a large tulip blossom in green and brown slip. A beautiful example of a desirable Berks County, PA design, surviving in particularly strong condition. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. A few minor rim chips. Virtually no wear to interior. Diameter 8 5/8".
