Redware Plate with Two-Color-Slip Tulip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, probably Berks County, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow and brown slip with a three-blossomed tulip plant, embellished with large spots extending from the flowers. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from an eighty-year private collection. Very nice condition with some small flakes to interior. Diameter 9".
