Three Pieces of Bell Family Redware, circa 1850-1880, a lidded redware bean pot with lead-glazed interior, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", with original lid, also stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'"; a three-gallon ovoid jar with manganese spotted tulip decoration, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'"; and an ovoid lidded jar, stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa.". Bean pot in excellent condition with two shallow base chips. Bean pot lid with large chip to knob and other lesser chips. Manganese-decorated jar with top-to-bottom crack on front, a second crack extending several inches up from base on front, exfoliation to surface, flakes to interior, a base chip, and chips and wear to rim. John W. Bell jar with exfoliation to surface, the lid in excellent condition. H (of John W. Bell jar, excluding lid) 14 1/2".
