Three New York State Stoneware Jugs, New York State origin, circa 1870, a one-gallon jug with cobalt bird decoration, stamped "J.A. & C.W. UNDERWOOD / FORT EDWARD, N.Y."; a one-gallon jug with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "SATTERLEE & MORY / Ft. EDWARD N Y"; and a one-gallon jug with cobalt leaf decoration, inscribed "one", Northeastern U.S. origin. Underwood jug with shallow, in-the-firing chipping to base and some fry to cobalt. Satterlee & Mory jug with fry to cobalt, a chip and iron ping to spout, and a base chip on reverse. Other jug with a large shallow flake to underside and light wear to spout.
