Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITE & WOOD / BINGHAMTON, N.Y.", circa 1885, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stem. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
